ASAP Baseball Spring 2018 FAQ?
What are the fees for the Spring 2018 Season? There is a deposit of $300 (non-refundable). The total cost for the spring season is $1500. This includes league registration, coaching fees for practices/games, field/ facility rental, uniform, team insurance, umpire fees, and other miscellaneous administrative costs.
Do we have to pay the spring fee in full? No, monthly installments are available. The first installment is due upon registration. The remaining installments are due on the last day of each month.
Are there late fees? Yes. This year ASAP Baseball is imposing late fees due to difficulty resolving balances with individual cases. There will a charge of $25 if not paid on time.
How do I know what division to register my player? We are NOT following the new Pony and Little League age cut off rule of August 31. We are still using the April 30 cut off date.
Does my child have to tryout? We do not hold tryouts. At ASAP Baseball we accept any player that is interested in learning the game.
Where and when will practices be held. Practices will be held twice a week at any of the following locations: VTV Baseball Complex, Cheseborough Park, and Hart colt field. Times at all locations are still TBD. Practice times can be anytime between the hours of 4-9pm.
Where will the games be played? Games will be played more than likely at any of the following leagues: Hart ABL, USSSA-Camarillo, Mid Valley Pony, or Santa Clarita Youth Baseball.
When will games be played? Games are generally played on Sundays. Depending on the venue, games may be played every other weekend (double headers). Expect to play between 10-20 games in the season.
When will the Spring 2018 season start and end? The planned start date for practice is mid January. Planned start date for the games would depend on which league we participate in. It could be late February or early March. Please note all dates are subject to change.
Who will be coaching my player? We have 10-12 coaches each season. We have a rotating schedule for coaches. Each coach has their own specific role (i.e: pitching, outfield, infield, hitting, catching, and base running). For more information about our coaches, click on http://www.asapacademy.com/coaches
